TechFlow news, January 17 — According to CoinDesk, Wintermute, a cryptocurrency trading firm, released its annual report and 2025 outlook. The report predicts that in 2025, major corporate mergers and acquisitions will settle transactions using stablecoins, the U.S. will begin discussions on establishing a strategic Bitcoin reserve, followed by China, the UAE, and Europe.
In addition, more listed companies will follow MicroStrategy’s strategy of purchasing Bitcoin by issuing debt or shares, while systemically important banks will offer cryptocurrency spot trading services to clients.
Evgeny Gaevoy, CEO of Wintermute, said that as cryptocurrencies become further integrated into global financial infrastructure through ETFs, corporate holdings, tokenization, and structured products, the market will gain greater momentum.
