TechFlow news — On January 16, Nick Tomaino, founder of 1confirmation, shared his view that the crypto industry's focus will ultimately shift from chasing short-term weekly narratives to providing on-chain financing for high-risk ventures capable of changing the world. These ventures include network states, public goods DAOs (such as those for military, police, and fire services), space exploration, lucid dreaming technology, and other high-risk projects.
Tomaino emphasized that such projects often struggle to secure funding through traditional financing channels, while innovative funding mechanisms within the crypto ecosystem will open new possibilities for them.
