TechFlow news, January 16 — According to SoSoValue data, the crypto market continued its upward trend, with the AI Agents sector surging 20.30% over 24 hours. Within this sector, tokens from the Virtuals Protocol ecosystem performed exceptionally well: VIRTUAL, AIXBT, GAME, and LUNA rose by 26.78%, 41.87%, 30.20%, and 28.64% respectively. Additionally, FARTCOIN (Fartcoin) increased by 27.05%, while GRIFFAIN (GRIFFAIN) climbed 28.73%. The Hyperliquid ecosystem recorded a 24-hour gain of 10.75%, with HYPE (Hyperliquid) up 9.91%, HFUN (Hypurr Fun) soaring 34.93%, and PURR (Purr) rising 15.46%. In the PayFi sector, top project XRP (XRP) gained 8.52%.
In other sectors, DeFi rose 6.99%, led by XDC (XDC Network) with a 19.01% increase and Lido DAO (LDO) up 15.94%. The Meme sector gained 5.30% over 24 hours, with flagship asset Dogecoin (DOGE) up 4.29%. Meanwhile, Layer 1 advanced 4.77%, Layer 2 rose 4.52%, and CeFi posted a 2.41% gain.
