TechFlow news — On January 15, Pyth Network announced the launch of Pyth Lazer, offering ultra-granular price feeds and market data with updates as fast as every 1 millisecond. Users can also choose from multiple frequency channels based on their specific needs, including 50-millisecond and 200-millisecond channels, as well as other customizable frequency options, better addressing diverse market demands.
Pyth Lazer delivers exceptional real-time performance, built specifically for protocols requiring high speed, such as perpetual futures and trading applications competing with CeFi, serving as a complementary product to the Pyth Core oracle service. Pyth Lazer provides ultra-low-latency price updates and rich market data for over 1,000 assets, supporting all major blockchain ecosystems including EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) and SVM (Solana Virtual Machine).
As an oracle solution, Pyth Network currently supports 78+ blockchains and delivers more than 500 live price feeds. Previously, Pyth launched the upgraded Oracle Integrity Staking (OIS), a security-focused staking mechanism designed to further enhance the reliability of data sources and strengthen the security of the DeFi ecosystem, providing robust support for dApp developers.
