Alexandra stated that part of the funds have been converted into Bitcoin and used to cover server costs, while the remainder is still held in meme coins. Additionally, the platform recorded approximately 1 billion paper downloads in 2024, reflecting sustained growth in user demand. Alexandra also revealed plans to draft a new open access declaration for scientific knowledge, aiming to begin legalizing platforms like Sci-Hub starting from former Soviet countries.
