TechFlow news, January 14 — According to The Paper, at a national conference of chief procurators held on January 13, it was emphasized that procuratorial organs will intensify efforts to combat money laundering crimes, and legally crack down on criminal activities involving the use of virtual currencies to illegally transfer assets overseas.
The meeting stressed the need to severely crack down on financial crimes. It called for resolute legal actions against illegal fundraising, loan fraud, financial statement fraud, market manipulation, and other financial crimes, maintaining a high-pressure stance against mass-involved financial crimes to safeguard financial security and stability. It highlighted leveraging the role of the Procuratorial Office stationed at the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), improving and implementing mechanisms for handling securities-related crime cases, thus promoting steady and healthy development of the capital market. The meeting also emphasized collaborative efforts to prevent and defuse financial risks, actively advancing the alignment between administrative law enforcement and criminal justice in the financial sector, and strengthening synergies in risk prevention, regulation, and sustainable development.
