TechFlow news: On January 14, Su Zhu posted on X saying, "If Elon Musk owns U.S. TikTok, then the memecoin supercycle is actually real."
Previously, Bloomberg cited sources stating that Chinese authorities are considering a potential option to sell TikTok's operations to Elon Musk if the short-video platform fails to overturn the "sell or ban" order.
TikTok and its Chinese parent company ByteDance had previously filed a lawsuit seeking to block a law signed by President Biden requiring ByteDance to divest TikTok’s U.S. assets by January 19, or face a ban. The U.S. Supreme Court recently held a hearing but has not yet reached a decision.
