TechFlow News, January 13 — According to cryptocurrency journalist Shalini Nagarajan, after being elected president, Donald Trump plans to hire approximately 24 chief executives and founders from the crypto industry to form a cryptocurrency advisory committee. The committee may provide guidance on digital asset policies and work with Congress to draft cryptocurrency legislation. It also aims to establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve, fulfilling Trump's campaign promises. Additionally, it will collaborate with key government agencies including the SEC, CFTC, and the Treasury Department to enhance regulatory transparency and foster a pro-crypto environment.
Currently, while many potential committee members already have connections with Trump, suitable candidates are still under evaluation.
Notably, Trump has appointed Bo Hines as the head of the newly established crypto advisory committee, who will report directly to David Sacks.
