TechFlow news, January 13 — JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon criticized Bitcoin again in an interview with CBS News, stating that it has no intrinsic value and is often abused by bad actors. He compared Bitcoin to smoking, saying that just because someone has the right to do something doesn't mean it's a good idea. He believes that while people have the right to buy or sell Bitcoin, that doesn't make it a good thing.
Notably, while Dimon maintains a harsh stance toward Bitcoin, he holds a more positive view of blockchain technology, acknowledging its practical applications and mentioning JPMorgan’s involvement in blockchain initiatives such as JPM Coin.
