TechFlow news: On January 13, Yu Xian, founder of SlowMist, posted that multiple X accounts have been compromised in recent days due to individuals entering their correct passwords (and possibly 2FA information), resulting in phishing-based account takeovers. The phishing attacks use threats of copyright infringement related to tweets to scare and deceive victims into revealing their correct passwords, 2FA codes, email addresses, phone numbers, and some KYC-related documents. Everyone should remain vigilant and never trust any suspicious requests asking you to submit passwords, mnemonic phrases, or private keys.
