TechFlow news, on January 9, according to Jinshi Data, Nick Timiraos, known as the "Fed whisperer," pointed out that the minutes from the Federal Reserve meeting further indicate officials' broad willingness to hold interest rates steady at the upcoming end-of-month meeting.
The minutes stated: "Participants noted that the committee is at or nearing an appropriate level to slow the pace of policy easing." Officials believe that, based on their current outlook for economic activity, the Fed may continue lowering interest rates at a slower pace than seen over recent months.
