TechFlow reported on January 9 that, according to Bitcoin Magazine, Oklahoma State Senator Dusty Deevers introduced Senate Bill 325, the "Bitcoin Freedom Act." The bill would allow employees in Oklahoma to choose to receive their wages in bitcoin and permit vendors to accept bitcoin payments. SB325 ensures participation is entirely voluntary, respects free market principles, and grants employees, employers, and businesses the right to choose the payment methods that best suit them. SB325 is eligible for consideration during the 60th legislative session beginning February 3.
