TechFlow news, January 7 — According to SoSoValue data, the crypto market saw a slight uptick today, with AI Agents and the Hyperliquid ecosystem leading gains at 4.65% and 5.39%, respectively. Within the AI Agents sector, Swarms (SWARMS) surged 56.64%, GRIFFAIN (GRIFFAIN) rose 22.82%, ai16z (AI16Z) climbed 22.65%, AI Rig Complex (ARC) increased 17.71%, and aixbt by Virtuals (AIXBT) gained 9.79%. However, top projects experienced pullbacks: Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL) declined -4.48%, and Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) dropped -9.19%. In the Hyperliquid ecosystem, HYPE and PURR rose 3.99% and 2.85%, respectively.
In other sectors, CeFi advanced 2.18%, with CEX-related tokens performing strongly: Binance Coin (BNB) up 2.03%, Bitget Token (BGB) up 3.21%, and MX (MX) up 5.51%. The NFT sector rose 1.98%, led by Pudgy Penguins (PENGU), which gained 6.20%. Layer 1, DePIN, and Meme sectors each rose 0.85%, while the DeFi sector slightly pulled back -1.02%.
