TechFlow reported on December 24 that, according to The Block, Ryan Miller, Managing Director of Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency exchange OSL, expects significant growth for spot crypto ETFs in Hong Kong in 2025. Data shows that Hong Kong's Bitcoin ETFs currently hold 4,560 BTC (approximately $444.6 million), while Ethereum ETFs hold 16,280 ETH (around $59.6 million).
Miller noted that in terms of ETF规模 as a percentage of respective stock market market capitalization, Hong Kong (0.023%) performs comparably to the United States (0.019%). With expectations of Trump's re-election, anticipated Federal Reserve rate cuts, and Hong Kong government's ongoing pro-crypto policies, Hong Kong crypto ETFs are poised to play a more important role in the global crypto ecosystem.
