TechFlow news, on December 21, according to Cailian Press, the U.S. House of Representatives voted on December 20 to pass an emergency funding bill aimed at preventing a government "shutdown." The new bill will continue to provide operating funds for the U.S. government until March next year, thereby avoiding a partial shutdown of federal agencies after midnight Eastern Time on the 21st.
The latest bill is nearly identical to the one that failed to pass on the 19th, but it removes provisions related to the debt ceiling, leaving three main components: a short-term extension of government spending, billions of dollars in disaster relief funding, and additional aid for farmers.
