TechFlow News, December 20 — BNB Chain announced today that it will launch the second edition of its Meme Coin Competition on December 24, running for seven consecutive days. During the event, BNB Chain will purchase $33 worth of high-quality ecosystem meme tokens each day and airdrop the corresponding tokens to 1,000 eligible community members selected at random.
To qualify for the airdrop, users must hold at least 1 staked BNB token (including slisBNB, BNBx, stkBNB, or ankrBNB) or 235 CAKE tokens. The snapshot will be taken at 8:00 PM Singapore time on December 24. Selected meme tokens will be evaluated based on 24-hour trading volume, market cap, and price performance, with no repeated selections allowed on subsequent days.
Notably, three winning projects from the first round—AICell, MONKEY, and FROG—have successfully been listed on Binance Alpha. This round specifically targets meme projects deployed on BNB Chain after December 1, 2024, and November 15, 2024, respectively.
