TechFlow reported on December 19, according to HODL15Capital data, cryptocurrency mining company Hut 8 now holds 10,096 bitcoins, surpassing Tesla (9,720 BTC) to become the fourth-largest publicly traded company holding bitcoin globally. The top three positions are held by MicroStrategy (439,000 BTC), Marathon Digital (44,394 BTC), and Riot Platforms (17,429 BTC).
Data shows that the world's top 60 publicly traded companies collectively hold 585,487 bitcoins. Among the top ten holders, seven are from the United States. Chinese enterprises Cango and Nano Labs hold 364 and 360 bitcoins respectively, ranking 31st and 32nd.
