TechFlow news — On December 18, according to CoinDesk, Own The Doge DAO, the original Doge meme rights holder, announced it has secured the rights to use the likeness of Neiro, the Shiba Inu adopted by Kabosu's owner after the passing of Kabosu, the original Doge meme dog.
Kabosumama, Neiro’s owner, stated that aside from Own The Doge ($DOG), she has not authorized any other cryptocurrency projects. Own The Doge DAO plans to determine which NEIRO token may legally use the IP through a community vote. Currently, multiple unauthorized NEIRO tokens have been launched on Solana and Ethereum, with some reaching market valuations in the hundreds of millions of dollars.
