TechFlow reports, on December 13, according to Fox News, OpenAI founder and CEO Sam Altman will join the list of U.S. tech giants contributing to President-elect Trump's inauguration fund. In a written statement, Altman said, "Trump will lead our nation into the age of artificial intelligence, and I look forward to supporting his efforts to ensure America remains at the forefront."
Altman plans to donate $1 million personally to the Presidential Inauguration Committee, rather than through OpenAI directly. Previously, Zuckerberg and Bezos both announced donations of $1 million to the presidential inauguration fund, reportedly in an effort to improve relations with the incoming president.
