TechFlow news — On December 13, according to Jinshi News, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos will provide a total of $2 million in support to Trump's inauguration fund, including a $1 million cash donation and $1 million worth of inauguration ceremony live-streaming services via Prime Video. Sources indicate that Bezos will meet with Trump next week at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
Previously, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced a $1 million donation to Trump’s inauguration fund in an effort to improve relations, while Google CEO Sundar Pichai is also scheduled to meet with Trump this Thursday, signaling a notable shift in attitude among Silicon Valley tech giants.
Bezos previously had a tense relationship with Trump, marked by disputes over antitrust litigation, a $10 billion AWS defense contract, and reporting by The Washington Post. However, he has now taken to social media to praise Trump for achieving an "extraordinary political comeback," describing him as "calmer, more confident, and more stable than during his first term."
Earlier on November 21, Musk revealed on social platform X that Amazon founder Jeff Bezos had previously told everyone Trump was certain to lose and advised selling Tesla and SpaceX stock.
