TechFlow news, December 12 — According to Cointelegraph, Coinbase Europe, Coinbase Germany, and Coinbase Custody International will delist Tether's USDT.
Coinbase stated: "Based on the latest information, we currently expect that we will have to restrict services for the following assets: USDT, PAX, PYUSD, GUSD, GYEN, and DAI," all of which are subject to restrictions under the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation.
Coinbase noted that it regularly reviews assets offered on its platform to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and will later assess whether to reinstate services for stablecoins that meet MiCA compliance standards.
