TechFlow reports that on December 12, according to The Block, the Web3 notification protocol Push Protocol is developing a Layer 1 blockchain called Push Chain, focused on chain abstraction technology and supporting cross-network Web3 application development. Push Chain aims to address fragmented user experiences and scalability challenges, with plans to roll out its testnet in stages by mid-January 2025 and launch the mainnet by year-end.
It was reported that Push raised $10.1 million in a Series A round led by Jump Crypto in 2022. In late 2020, the project secured $1.41 million in seed funding backed by former Coinbase CTO Balaji Srinivasan and Gitcoin co-founder Scott Moore.
