TechFlow news, December 12 — According to Cointelegraph, on December 11 the world-renowned scientific journal Nature reported on ResearchHub, a decentralized science (DeSci) project. The platform incentivizes academic peer review through its native token, ResearchCoin (RSC), offering reviewers approximately $150 worth of tokens per paper reviewed.
ResearchHub has received support from Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, who emphasized at last month's ResearchHub Journal launch event in San Francisco that peer reviewers should be compensated. The platform charges a $1,000 fee for processing each paper and levies a 7% transaction fee on ResearchCoin (RSC) trades, with 2% of the fees returned to the community.
RSC token has risen 23.1% over the past 24 hours, currently trading at $0.9967, with a market capitalization reaching $99.62 million.
