TechFlow news, December 10 — According to crypto.news, Google CEO Sundar Pichai unveiled the new quantum computing chip named Willow, featuring 105 qubits and low error rates. The chip reportedly can perform a computation in five minutes that would take today's supercomputers 10 octillion years.
Cryptocurrency venture expert Adam Cochran stated this breakthrough shortens the timeline for the crypto industry to address quantum computing risks to less than 10 years. Ava Labs co-founder Emin Gün Sirer suggested special attention should be paid to the security of early bitcoins mined by Satoshi Nakamoto using the P2PK format, recommending time-limited protective measures for such transactions.
