TechFlow reports that Adam Back, co-founder of Bitcoin infrastructure company Blockstream, has stated that Bitcoin may be entering a steeper phase of the S-curve growth. He predicts that within the next 2 to 5 years, the trend of "diminishing returns" for Bitcoin could break and shift upward.
Back believes that as Bitcoin transitions from a gradual phase to an explosive phase, the rapid influx of new users will create a compounding effect, rendering the theory of diminishing returns during halving cycles obsolete. He referenced a $20 trillion addressable market forecast made by Bitcoin pioneer Hal Finney in January 2009, suggesting that Bitcoin still has substantial room for growth.
