TechFlow reports, on December 3, Coinbase announced that its Coinbase Onramp service has completed integration with Apple Pay. This integration will provide crypto app users with a more seamless fiat-to-crypto conversion experience. Users of crypto applications utilizing Coinbase Onramp can now use Apple's payment service for all fiat-to-crypto purchases and can enter or exit in USDC at no cost. Coinbase Onramp features built-in KYC and compliance support, enabling over 100 crypto tokens and more than 60 fiat currencies.
According to Oberlo data, approximately 60 million Apple Pay users in the United States currently have access to this feature, with projections reaching 67 million by 2026. Nemil Dalal, Head of the Coinbase Developer Platform, stated that the integration will reduce user deposit times from "minutes" down to "seconds."
