TechFlow News, November 29 — TRON founder Justin Sun announced he will purchase 100,000 bananas from Shah Alam, a fruit vendor in New York's Upper East Side, and distribute them globally for free through the vendor’s stall. Anyone with valid identification can claim one banana each until supplies last.
It is reported that Shah Alam previously supplied the banana used in Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan’s famous artwork titled "Comedian," which features a banana taped to a wall. The artwork was eventually auctioned for $5.2 million, drawing widespread attention across the global art world.
Justin Sun stated that this event aims to celebrate the beautiful connection between everyday life and art, hoping to bring greater awareness to this unique artistic story. He plans to personally visit Alam’s fruit stand in the future to express his gratitude.
