TechFlow news, November 25 — According to Cointelegraph, Suriname presidential candidate Maya Parbhoe has unveiled a plan to adopt bitcoin as legal tender and gradually replace the Surinamese dollar with bitcoin if she wins the 2025 election.
She intends to dissolve the central bank, reduce taxes, privatize public services, and combat corruption through Bitcoin's transparency.
Parbhoe stated that Bitcoin is key to rebuilding the nation's financial infrastructure.
