TechFlow News, November 21 — According to Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the matter, Donald Trump’s campaign team is considering creating the first dedicated position for cryptocurrency policy within the White House, and is currently vetting potential candidates. The role could take the form of a senior White House staff member or a so-called "crypto czar," primarily responsible for overseeing federal cryptocurrency policy and regulatory efforts.
Sources indicated that cryptocurrency industry advocates are pushing for the position to report directly to Trump. If established, this would be the first role in White House history solely focused on cryptocurrency.
