TechFlow news — On November 20, according to Fortune, President-elect Trump traveled to Boca Chica, Texas on November 19 to join Musk in watching the sixth test flight of SpaceX's Starship rocket. During this launch, the reusable booster failed to return to the launch pad as it had during last month's test, instead being guided to land in the Gulf of Mexico.
Musk spent approximately $200 million supporting Trump during the election campaign. After Trump’s victory, Musk gained unprecedented access, participating in government appointments and co-chairing a federal agency streamlining advisory group. Over the past two weeks, Musk has frequently appeared by Trump’s side, from meetings with House Republicans in Washington to watching a UFC match in New York.
At a black-tie event held at Mar-a-Lago, Trump praised Musk as "extremely high IQ" and "a truly good person," adding, "He likes it here—I can't even get him to leave." Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, shared a photo with Musk on social media, stating he had achieved "uncle status."
