TechFlow news — On November 19, Robinhood announced the rollout of index options, enabling customers to soon trade options on diversified indices such as the S&P 500, VIX, Russell 2000, and Nasdaq 100 directly on Robinhood.
Earlier in October, Robinhood announced the launch of its desktop platform, Robinhood Legend, adding futures and index options trading capabilities to its mobile app. The platform will focus on active traders. Futures contracts available for investors will include equity indices, currencies, metals, energy products such as natural gas and crude oil, as well as cryptocurrency futures.
