TechFlow news — On November 14, according to NBC News, two sources familiar with the matter said that since Election Day, Elon Musk has frequently appeared at Trump’s home in Palm Beach, Florida—Mar-a-Lago—spending nearly every day with Trump, joining calls and meetings. He has continuously expressed his views on Trump’s second term, even crossing boundaries set by Trump’s transition team, giving the impression of "overstaying his welcome."
The two sources said Musk’s frequent presence has begun to irritate certain members of Trump’s inner circle—individuals who have been part of Trump’s orbit longer than Musk—who feel he is overstepping during the transition process. One person said: “He acts like a co-president, making sure everyone knows it. He keeps taking credit for Trump’s victory, boasting to anyone who will listen about America PAC and X, trying to make Trump feel indebted to him—but Trump doesn’t owe anyone favors.”
According to insiders, some Trump advisers are concerned that Musk fails to understand a key rule for operating within Trump’s world: staying low-key. They believe Musk’s aggressive involvement could ultimately undermine his position. A second source added that Musk appears to be advancing his own agenda rather than focusing on Trump’s.
