TechFlow News, November 14 — According to Cryptonews, on November 13, cryptocurrency exchange Gemini mistakenly sent out an email alert claiming Bitcoin had surpassed $110,000. The company later apologized on social media, attributing the error to a notification system malfunction. At the time, Bitcoin's actual price was $93,000, marking a new all-time high.
Notably, cryptocurrency exchanges frequently experience price display errors. Earlier this month, Binance incorrectly listed XRP’s price at $5,791. In 2021, both Coinbase and Crypto.com displayed inflated cryptocurrency prices due to data inaccuracies from CoinMarketCap, causing market confusion.
