TechFlow news on November 14: @0xFiyopi, founder of Solcasino, stated on X that after a Phantom wallet update, he was logged out and permanently lost access to his cryptocurrency wallet, resulting in the loss of approximately $1 million worth of POPCAT tokens.
He mentioned that although he had the recovery phrase from January 30, 2022 (the launch date of Phantom wallet), this recovery phrase cannot access the affected wallets. He speculated that the recovery phrase might have changed when switching to a new phone, and he failed to save it properly on the new device in time.
