TechFlow news, on November 11, according to an official announcement from Akave, the decentralized data storage project has successfully raised $3.45 million in funding. The round was participated by Protocol Labs, Blockchange VC, Lightshift, and Blockchain Builders Fund. The funds will be used to accelerate Akave's development in on-chain data management.
Akave is a Layer 2 solution launched by Filecoin. It has released the Yucca testnet, now open to early testers, to explore on-chain data storage and programmability. Akave provides tools for enterprises, AI companies, and DePIN developers to help them go beyond traditional cloud storage by building on-chain data lakes, advancing data ownership and enabling new data monetization models.
