TechFlow news — On November 11, AMP, the developer of the ACT project, posted on social media: "I have distributed, burned, or sold all ACT tokens sent to me. I no longer want it listed on any centralized exchanges (CEXs). I'm glad to be rid of it. Holding this token caused me significant stress, constantly harassed by various individuals demanding I lock up or extend my holding period. My mental health and inner peace come first. They also repeatedly misgendered me, ignoring my multiple requests to stop. I’m happy to help the ACT community transition to a new brand identity—although I can't directly modify the pumpfun token, they can deposit their tokens into a new contract so their tokens can be upgraded to a new version."
It is reported that AMP was one of the developers of the ACT project and once held 6% of the total supply of project tokens. However, the community has questioned his repeated deception and stealthy dumping of all his tokens, an act of bad faith that severely damaged trust in him. If AMP had not sold his holdings, the value of those tokens would now be worth over $19 million at peak.
