TechFlow News, November 6 — MEET48, an AI-powered UGC social metaverse project, officially announced today that it will be a sponsor and co-initiator of the "W2140 World AI+WEB3 Expo" Bangkok edition. Jointly hosted by SNH48 Group and W2140 EXPO, this year's Bangkok event will take place from November 12–14, 2024, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), showcasing high-quality projects in the fields of metaverse, AI technology, blockchain innovations, and the WEB3 ecosystem.
MEET48’s COO, Kai Xu, will deliver a brand keynote speech on November 12 from 15:20 to 15:40 on the main stage, discussing the convergence of idol entertainment and the crypto industry. Additionally, nine top members of SNH48 Group—Wang Yi, Zhou Shiyu, Zheng Danni, Bai Xinyu, Zhu Yixin, Yang Bingyi, Liu Zengyan, Zhou Xiang, and Hu Xiaohui—will perform live on the main stage from 15:40 to 16:20 on November 12. They will also host a fan meet-up session from 9:00 to 13:00 on November 13 at the D-Zone satellite venue.

Notably, MEET48 will launch its "MEET48 Best7" campaign from November 15 to January 14, featuring phased voting, free NFT minting, and staking-based point accumulation to determine MEET48’s best songs and groups, creating a shining Web3 stage for idols and newcomers alike. Furthermore, MEET48.ai is set to launch in December 2024. Leveraging Paro—the multimodal AI big data model for virtual human music and dance—via MaaS (Model-as-a-Service), users will be able to create virtual idol content (such as short videos, MVs, livestreams) with low barriers through the AIShowBox creation tool. By publishing their content on MEET48.ai, users can build their own virtual idol social circles and earn additional rewards and airdrops.
