TechFlow News, November 6 — According to ABC News, Georgia is one of the seven most critical swing states in this presidential election, and early results there have offered little indication of which way the state may ultimately lean. Currently, Trump leads Harris with 60% support to her 40%, while only about 9% of the expected votes have been counted. Notably, two urban counties in the Atlanta area have reported at least 70% of their anticipated ballots, with significantly higher blue (Democratic) vote shares compared to 2020. Additionally, many rural counties across the state are also showing higher Democratic vote shares than in 2020. So far, an estimated three-quarters of Georgia's ballots were cast via early or absentee voting, which should, at minimum, provide some advantage to Democrats compared to Election Day voting.
According to CNN, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said that 12 polling locations in the state extended voting hours due to bomb threats, while another three extended hours for "routine reasons."
