TechFlow news, according to Jinshi Data, the seven key swing states that will have the greatest impact on the 2024 U.S. presidential election will begin closing polling stations sequentially from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern Time on November 5 (8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Beijing Time on November 6), with final results expected around noon Beijing Time on November 6.
The specific schedule is as follows: Georgia and North Carolina will be the first to close their polls, starting at 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Beijing Time on November 6, respectively. Michigan and Pennsylvania will close at 9 a.m. Beijing Time, Wisconsin and Arizona at 10 a.m., and Nevada at 11 a.m.
Analysis suggests that if Democratic candidate Harris performs strongly in Southern states, she may not need to fully rely on the slower-counting "Blue Wall" states (Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin). Conversely, if Republican candidate Trump wins in the Southern states, Harris could still potentially win through the "Blue Wall" states, though result announcements might be delayed.
