TechFlow news, November 4 — According to an official announcement, Bitcoin mining company MARA (Nasdaq: MARA) released its unaudited Bitcoin production report for October. The data shows that MARA produced 717 Bitcoins in October, a 2% increase month-over-month; energized hashing power rose to 40.2 EH/s, up 14% from the previous month. As of the end of October, MARA held a total of 27,562 Bitcoins, including 4,499 restricted Bitcoins.
Fred Thiel, Chairman and CEO of MARA, stated that October marked the company's best Bitcoin production month since the halving event in April. Despite rising network-wide hashing power and increased mining difficulty, the company still achieved growth in output. Notably, transaction fees accounted for approximately 5% of total revenue, with a single highest transaction fee reaching 3.217 BTC. Thiel emphasized that the company's proprietary technology platforms, such as Slipstream and MARAPool, enable it to fully capture opportunities from high transaction fees.
