TechFlow news, November 1 — According to Cointelegraph, Tether's Senior Strategic Partnership Manager Alessandro Giori announced at the TON Gateway event in Dubai that a UAE dirham-pegged stablecoin will be issued on the TON blockchain. The stablecoin project, developed jointly by Tether, UAE-based Phoenix Group and Green Acorn Investments, will be fully backed by local UAE liquid assets. Additionally, Giori announced that USDT on the TON blockchain will be integrated with the digital asset platform Fireblocks.
Previous report, Tether plans to launch a stablecoin pegged to the United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED).
