TechFlow reports, on October 31, according to Bitcoin.com News, a press conference claiming to reveal the true identity of Bitcoin's creator Satoshi Nakamoto is scheduled to take place at The Frontline Club in London. The date coincides with the 16th anniversary of the release of the Bitcoin white paper, but the event has already sparked widespread skepticism within the crypto community.
The event is organized by the PR agency prlondonlive[.]com, which claims it will present "verifiable evidence" and states that "Satoshi Nakamoto" has been compelled to come forward due to "legal challenges." The organizers also promise attendees a tour of locations where Satoshi once lived and worked, even claiming to show the house where Bitcoin and blockchain technology were born.
However, the crypto community has expressed strong doubts. Similar "Satoshi Nakamoto identity revelations" have occurred multiple times in the past, yet none have provided conclusive evidence. Community members generally believe that, without specific legal details or independent verification, this is highly likely to be another publicity stunt.
