TechFlow reports on October 30 that the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) in Africa has officially joined the Hedera Governing Council, leveraging the Hedera network to accelerate its tokenization initiatives. By joining the council, NSE will utilize Hedera's secure, transparent, and scalable technology to expedite the launch of digital assets and tokenized securities on its exchange.
The Hedera Governing Council is a diverse group of global organizations responsible for operating and governing the decentralized Hedera network. As a council member, NSE will run a node on the Hedera network and hold equal voting rights with other members in the governance of Hedera software and services.
