TechFlow news on October 30: DWF Labs, a crypto market maker, has fired partner Eugene Ng over a "sexual assault scandal," and his information has been removed from the team page on the company's official website. In addition to serving as a partner at DWF, he also founded OpenEden, an RWA company.
DWF Labs posted on X: "We have become aware of recent allegations regarding one of our partners involving inappropriate and unacceptable behavior, which is deeply concerning. While this matter remains under investigation, DWF Labs has decided to immediately remove this partner from all management and operational responsibilities."
According to reports, a woman named Hana previously stated on X that on the evening of October 24, a DWF partner repeatedly slipped unknown substances into her drink at a bar in Hong Kong, and she was rescued after being warned by staff. Hana said she has obtained video footage from the venue and has already filed a police report.
