TechFlow reported on October 29, according to Cointelegraph, that cryptocurrency exchange Gemini has received in-principle approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to offer certain services in the country, enabling it to provide digital payment token and cross-border remittance services.
In a statement, Gemini said the in-principle approval marks a milestone for the company, as Singapore has been central to its operations across the Asia-Pacific region. The exchange added that it will continue working toward obtaining final approval for the MPI license.
