TechFlow reports that on October 29, according to an official announcement, Binance will gradually discontinue support for the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2). As stated in the announcement, the platform will halt withdrawal services for all BEP2 tokens at 00:00 UTC on November 1, and will cease deposits for all BEP2 tokens except Binance pegged tokens (B-tokens) at 00:00 UTC on November 8.
The BNB Chain team plans to fully shut down the BEP2 network at 06:00 UTC on November 19. Binance advises users to deposit their BEP2 B-tokens into their Binance accounts before the deadline; once deposited, these B-tokens can be withdrawn via native networks or other networks supported by Binance.
