TechFlow reported on October 28 that Solana wallet Phantom experienced severe backend outages following today's airdrop launch. Shortly after the Grass airdrop distribution went live, Phantom's backend systems became unresponsive as thousands of users attempted to claim their airdrops simultaneously.
According to Phantom's official status page, the service was down for approximately 60 minutes while the team investigated the issue. Their monitoring systems reported backend unresponsiveness, affecting many users trying to claim the airdrop.
