The collaboration, nearly three years in the making, aims to promote DeFi technology and reshape public perception of cryptocurrency by leveraging Bruce Lee's legacy.
Sergej Kunz, co-founder of 1inch, revealed that the company's name was inspired by Bruce Lee's iconic "one-inch punch," symbolizing achieving maximum impact with minimal effort—a principle that aligns closely with the platform’s focus on transaction efficiency. The campaign will roll out through video releases and other formats, emphasizing the practical utility of crypto technology over its speculative aspects.
Kunz also highlighted the DeFi industry's stance on regulation, stating that the Web3 space requires tailored regulatory frameworks. He called for regulators and project developers to work together in creating balanced solutions that protect users while fostering innovation and growth.
