TechFlow news, according to Cryptoslate, decentralized finance project Aark Digital suffered a security incident on October 25, 2024, when hackers breached its treasury and stole approximately 1.386 million USDC and 24.143 ETH, totaling around $1.5 million. To recover the stolen assets, the project has announced a recovery initiative and is offering a 15% bounty, equivalent to about 225,000 USDC, to the hacker.
Aark Digital has posted two incentive programs on the Arkham bounty platform: one offers 6,100 ARKM tokens worth 10,000 USDC as a reward for providing effective recovery leads; the other offers a 15% bounty to the hacker who successfully returns all assets. The project has set a deadline of 15:00 UTC on October 26, beyond which, if no response is received, it will pursue legal action.
Currently, Aark Digital has strengthened its security measures to prevent further attacks and stated that if full asset recovery is not possible, it will announce a separate loss distribution plan.
