TechFlow news — On October 25, according to Jinshi News, on Thursday Elon Musk's super political action committee awarded two $1 million prizes to registered voters in Michigan and Wisconsin, disregarding a prior warning from the Department of Justice that such prize giveaways might be illegal.
A pro-Trump super political action committee said Wednesday that the DOJ had sent a letter warning the group its "daily" raffle campaign could violate federal election laws, which prohibit paying individuals for voter registration. Musk launched the raffle last Saturday, with the super PAC announcing one winner per day through Wednesday.
